In 1987 I began walking the path of personal awareness, healing and empowerment. At that time I discovered the subtle, effective Bach® Flower Essences. In 2002 I am actively seeking certification by the Bach Centre in Wallingford, England.
In 1989 I became a Certified Massage Therapist through the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy. Since that time I have been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the organization that sets the standards for massage therapy in the U.S. today.
In between that and achieving National Board Certification in Massage and Bodywork, Reiki became a part of my life. This simply profound and profoundly simple healing technique further expanded my ability to assist others in their healing. I have been a teacher of Reiki since 1992. National Certification in massage further grounded me in techniques valued by healthcare practitioners.
Over the years, I have continued to expand my abilities as a teacher of energy work and as a practitioner of bodywork and vibrational healing. The path has been a circuitous one, filled with synchronistic events. For example, while in Glastonbury, England to receive Master training in Karuna Reiki® from William Rand (who developed this branch of Reiki), I heard about Kwan Yin and Magnified Healing®!
All of the above events brought me to the doorstep of Avatar®. Avatar has been the ultimate step in personal empowerment. This is a never-ending journey, with each step meaningful, transformational and of value in its own right. This diversity of techniques affords me great flexibility in meeting the needs of my clients.
I am a member in good standing of the American Massage Therapy Association, and a registered teacher/practitioner with the International Association of Reiki Professionals. I am a licensed Avatar® Master Wizard.
